Counselling Directory
There is no standard time limit and there is no right or wrong way to feel during the bereavement period - everyone must learn to cope in their own way. Counselling may be able to provide support during these very difficult times.

Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.
Pet Bereavement
As with any bereavement the death of a much loved pet can be devastating and an enormous loss.
To some the pet may have become a member of the family, a companion, a friend and if you were close to your pet it is normal to have the reactions to it's loss that you may experience in the death of a person i.e. shock, disbelief, numbness, anger, pain, hurt, sadness, guilt and overwhelming grief.

The Bereavement Register
Helping to stop unwanted direct mail to the deceased If someone you know has died they can reduce the amount of unwanted marketing post being sent to them, stopping painful daily reminders. Names and addresses of the deceased are removed from mailing lists, stopping most advertising mail within as little as six weeks.
